My baby bump at 25 weeks..

Jason and I have an envelope with a picture (that supposedly tells us boy or girl). We want to share with you on Christmas! Come back for more pictures, and on Christmas we will unveil the gender of baby Schneider! Merry Christmas! :)

Jason and I found out when we returned from Haiti in July that we were expecting! With this being our third pregnancy, we were very nervous, having just been in a third world country, and not carrying past 9 weeks in the previous two.
This baby is quite the fighter, surviving a scarce diet in Haiti and working super hard in the humid Haiti heat! Now, this baby (we've been calling the baby JJ) is still a fighter- kicking me awake in the middle of the night! We are at 25 weeks! My belly is getting huge! My only real complaint about being pregnant has been the acid reflux.
The first trimester was a breeze, a little nausea - no biggie. As soon as the nausea subsided, I had this weird thing in my throat where I kinda felt like I needed to throw up, it burned. I had NEVER experienced this before. After a quick call to my mom, and a few tums, I was feeling a little better. But now, everything gives me acid reflux! Even water. So I take pepcid ac at the advice of my DR, and carry industrial size Tums in my purse. :)

Busy

I am officially a college student... at 27, I am finally going back to finish my psychology degree. Not a hundred percent sure what I am going to do with that degree, but I know that God is busy opening doors, and making a way for me to use my degree. In the meantime God has allowed me to use personal experience to help others in my job!
I am the new community coordinator at the Alliance of south west Missouri. (www.theallianceofswmo.org)
I am in charge of the Neosho and Joplin area coalitions for safe teens. I work with community members who have a goal in mind- to keep our teens off drugs and prevent underage drinking. Currently we are gearing up a 'clean out your medicine cabinet' campaign to help prevent teens from abusing prescription and over the counter drugs. We are also working on some PSA (public service announcements) on similar topics! I am really enjoying school and my new job!
It reminds me again, that God works for the good of those who love him and who are called according to His purpose!
I couldn't have planned this part of my life to be this good- God is AMAZING!

time for a little vaca

Jason and I have been in Missouri for two months exactly today. We are planning on doing a little driving and visiting some really good friends and of course family!

The gist of it:

We are going to spend the day in St.Louis with Jesse and Cynthia Frame- we'll get to meet their newest addition Clara! So excited- It's been probably 4 years since we've seen the frames! We are very excited.
We will stay with Jason's sister Julie that night in St Louis and then head out the next day for Bloomington! Most of Jason's family lives there. We will spend time with his cousins Bethany, Christopher and Hannah! We will be celebrating Hannah's birthday while we are there... so that should be a ton of FUN! We will spend several days there with family, and from their head to Northern Indiana to visit with Mike and Megan Brown- and meet their new little one Elliot! (seems like a theme... it continues)
From their we are going to Cincinnati to visit Ryan and Ashley Maxwell- who just informed us they are expecting their first! So happy for them!
From their on to Louisville to visit Nathan and Heather. (no baby news their...yet)
Then the longest part of our trip we are going to Florida! To the panhandle near Pensacola to visit Faith and Eric... and their baby Henry (too cute! The theme ends here- no news of our own to announce - still hopeful and still trying!) We will spend a few days taking in sights of Florida with the Ducommon family and then we will spend one day in New Orleans! Super excited!
All of these places we are visiting I have never been to (except stl and il) I've never even been to Indiana, Ohio, Florida, or Louisiana! I'm really looking forward to this trip!
